Whichever way you look at it, at the present time the manifold contributions
that the Christian community have made to both the countries has been forgotten.

Both Pakistan with pacification of their extreme Muslim element and India with
the current Hindutva outlook have been giving or are on the way to giving a
hard time to their Christians.

As the article says, educated Christians have been fleeing westwards but the
poorer Christians are caught between a Rock and a Hard Place. Too poor to
afford emigration and too discriminated against to enjoy equal status and
opportunity with the majority community.

On a personal note, I have met more than a few Christian Punjabis both from
India and Pakistan who are well educated and in good jobs in Canada.
Fortunately for their community they strive their utmost to facilitate others
to do likewise.
