TOI of 21/7/07 had a report titled "Geotourism is the world travellers' new mantra". It is supposedly about travel that focuses on a destination's unique culture and history and aims to have visitors enrich those qualities rather than turn the place into a typical tourist trap. The idea is to emphasise a place's distinctiveness rather than standardise it. Would seem to make sense for Goa, right?
