Thanks for posting this Gabe, else I doubt I would have found out about it. While the awards are important in the UK, I don’t know if they hold the value that they used to have just 50 years ago. Anyways, the next email after reading yours informed me that Brian May of Queen also got the award. In short, one got knighted for selling booze and the other for making the music for the parties. 2023 is going to be interesting.
