Chandrayan III Indian can be legitimately proud of its attempt to soft land on South pole.It is true that India is first attempting visit in a difficult terrain.Last attempt was narrowly missed. Lessons have been learnt from failures and ISRO scientists exude confidence of corrective measures. Publicity is well deserved, but the huype needed to be tonned down before final touchdown, as it is opined that final stage is frought with terror.Comparison with other Nations who have achieved such feats and much more in advanced projects 50 years ago is in poor taste.India will be fourth in line after all except for the site chosen. Indians are keeping fingers crossed and waiting with bated breadth, wishing success for this gigantic leap forward for the Nations.
