All eyes are on GBA now. While they are 'apolitical' and are unlikely to have any comment on the continuing political merry-go-round, it is essential that they intervene through a big mobilisation now. This is because the government that appears likely to come in has obviously made deals with the land sharks, and Babush will be given whatever he wants.

But what Babush wants is not what Goa wants. So the GBA needs to tell the new government that they can do all their political shenanigans and nonsense as usual, but certain things are unacceptable -- no land conversions, no more big constructions, and no return of the real estate mafia.
