Swearing in ceremony For the very first time the swearing in ceremoy was a public function on a grand scale.The ordeal of dignitaries and public is palable .They had to watch the whole ceremony patiently in silence and had no active role.The crowd enjoyed cheering their own candidates . Is the expense on foreign dignitaries their travel ,stay and treatment, security could well have been avoided. The spectacle, a drain on public exchequer could have served a better purpose The self publicity only a moment of glory for the politicians to revel in wasteful expenditure.
