Hi Mervyn: Yes, I remember those pig hunts to get enough pork for festive days. All that corporal was powerfully, and a bit much for a boy from the so called food I got at Don Bosco School in Panjim.
It’s true that pork vindaloo, very hot, has become a favorite food after soccer matches in UK, with the addition of locally invented butter chicken. Or so I hear from relatives there. Goan food travels well.
