Visit http://www.garcabranca.com for details/booking/confirmation. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Dear Cecil, Thanks for graciously giving ten copies of DOMNIC'S GOA to the BRITTO'S OBA [alumni association of St. Britto HS with North Goa-resident alumni of other Jesuit schools/colleges in India as "Associate Members"] as prizes for the Britto's QUIZ QUEST to be held on Sunday, 02 September, 2007. The books will be given to the finalists in the Quiz. Ten questions in the "Question Bank" for the preliminary rounds will be from the content of the book. We are also making a mention of the book on our website www.britto-oba.com that will be launched on 15 August, 2007. I am happy to learn that FOUR copies of the book "Goa, Ma Belle" actually sold at Toronto at the equivalent of Rs.1,800/- a copy. I think the copies would have been bought by "the usual suspects" like Ben Antao and company. We have plenty of Britto alumni in Toronto/Missisuaga itself but are yet to enrol the first member from the entire American continent. Fortunately, we were able to sell a few copies of our book to alumni who came from there. As Dom Martin says, the Britto's OBA works without any expectation...and gives what it can. We have had fantastic response from alumni in Kuwait, Saudi and UAE as also a little from Portugal and UK. Mog asundi.
