P.C. Trust Annual Teacher Awards On the occasion of Teachers’ Day, 5th September, the P.C. Trust felicitated outstanding teachers with citations and cash awards in recognition of their dedicated service to education.
Mr. Mario Vales, PED Teacher, MMHS Secondary Receives Rs 7700 = as Prof. C.A. Gomes Award, Mr. & Mrs. Fidelis/Aruna Pereira, Mr. & Mrs. Nelson/Leena Lopes, Prof. Constance Da Costa, by Mrs Lelly & Mrs Vilda Rajesh Timblo. He also receives the late Sandy Rodrigues PED maiden Teacher Award of ₹5,600. Mrs. Roshnie Barretto, Primary Teacher, MMHS Honoured with awards totaling ₹7,800, as Prof. of Portuguese Primary Schools, Mrs. Blasia Barros D’Souza, and Mr. Domingos Jordão Almeida. Mrs. Priya Niasso, Pre-Primary Teacher, MMHS Awarded ₹3,750, as Mrs. Celine Mascarenhas and Mr. & Mrs. A.P. & Mina de Mello. Mrs. Trudy Luis, Headmistress, MMHS Receives the Fr. Presentação Memorial Award of ₹10,300, instituted by the family and Villagers of Sarzora/Chinchinim. Mrs. Venita H.L. D’Cruz, Secondary Mathematics Teacher, MMHS Honoured with awards totaling ₹7,750, in names of late Mr. Martin Pereira, Mrs. Wenefrida Pereira, and Mr. Domingo X. Fernandes. Sponsored Awards Since 2011, by Bank of India (BOI) Chinchinim and Union Bank of India (UBI) Chinchinim have sponsored annual teacher awards of ₹5,000 each: Mrs. Nikeetta Coutinho, Secondary Teacher, Assumpta HS – UBI Award. Mrs. Amy Dias, Pre-Primary Teacher, SMA School – BOI Award. Rev.
