St.Carlos Accuti influencer of God He was also designated as" Patron Saint of internet" , " First Millenial saint", " model of holiness in digital age". He was born on 03.05.1991 in England to Italian Catholic couple Mr .Andrea &Mrs. Antonia Salzano.His father was Chairman of Italian insurance, financial company Vittoria Ascorazioni besides serves as Executive at Bank in London Carlos was baptized after 6 months and soon left to Italy.They were not practicing or devout catholics before his birth and mother is believed to have gone to church for the first time for First Holy Communion , Confirmation and her wedding.Later she enrolled for Theology course to satisfy curiosity of her son in spiritual matters. As he grew up at around 7 years and after receiving First Holy Communion became increasingly interested to attend daily mass , receive Eucharist and also pray the Rosary daily for his devotion to BVM and confessed every week.It was Accutis who motivated mother to attend Church.Ritual of Eucharist became his life long passion.He said " Eucharist is my motorway to heaven " To be always close to Jesus was his life plan He accompanied his parents to birth places of saints and sites of Eucharistic miracles As a child he defended colleagues who were bullied , extended monetary help to homeless , disabled , refugees as he was inclined to be generous and charitable He was fond of video games but limited to one hour per week.He mastered Computer programming , graphic designing on his own as a hobby.He built a website documenting, investigating 178 Eucharistic miracles at the age of 11 years in 20 different languages , countries dates and included maps, videos of sites , virtual museums as a means in digital age to spread spiritual content. Marian Apiritions were also supplemented. . He was distressed and disappointed about long Q's at concerts, stadiums but not at adoration to Eucharist.
In October he fell ill and was diagnosed as acute myeloid leukemia .Soon he slipped into a coma due to cerebral hemorrhage and passed away within 7 days on 12.10 2006 at the.age. of 15 .He never complained and offered his pains to God Pope.His last words to his mother "mom don't be afraid since Jesus death is passage towards life and we don't need to flee.Prepare to experience some extraordinary feelings His words are powerful testament to his faith encouraging to embrace faith , live with purpose and face death with hope.. His body preserved and displayed in casual jeans, sweater / track suit jacket and pair of Nike shoes His remains were shifted from Terengo at St Francis of Assasisi on Jan 2007.His tomb is at Church of Santa Maria Maggiore, visited by million pilgrims. The process of cannonisation starts 5 years after death .It began in 2013 Declared Venerable on 05.07.2018.Beatified by Pope Francis in 2020 after the first verified and documented Miracle The 4 years boy Matheus from Brazil with congenital disease of Pancreas could not eat properly .Through his intercession by mother was cured completely Two miracles are required for Cannonisation .The 21 years girl Vianna Valerie Valverde from Costa Rica studying in Florence Italy met with severe bicycle accident on july 02 .Her mother Liliana went on 08.07.22 on pilgrimage to Accutis tomb and thro his intercession showed sign of improvement after 10 days of the visit and recovered completely thereafter. ACCUTIS was declared Saint on 7 Sept.2025 by Pope Leo.along with St Pier Giorgio Frassati Italian , lay Dominican ,who died at the age of 24 in 1925. His twin sibblings born 4 years after death , brother Michele did First reading and sister Francesca along with parents offered the offertory gifts and Vianna Valverde also took part in gratitude. His heart as a relic is at Cathedral San Rufino at Assisi.
