TONY HAS GONE BUT WILL BE FONDLY REMEMBERED Very saddened with the demise of our dear Ribandar brother Tony Gonsalves. Always so very outspoken who would never mince words, jovial, hale and hearty except in the last few months while he was unwell, but endured it all. A proud son of our Ribandar and an ex-student of Ribandar’s Bal Bharati Vidyamandir. A fervent sports lover who partook in all our traditional festivities. We never missed an occasion to party. Tony was a self-made man. He worked for many years in Bombay, after which he moved to the Gulf until he retired. He worked hard with a sense of focus and determination. Tony was kind, humble and considerate to all. A God fearing man who lived by the teachings of his beliefs and did justice during his stint in this world while now moving to God’s Kingdom. In Tony’s demise, I have personally lost a dear friend of many decades with only good memories to cherish. Rest in Peace dear Tony until we meet again.
