Are you a goan ? How come you only know Parsuram and not your dulpods? If
you want to call yourself goyemkar please learn the simple dulpods or else
our future generations will forget dulpods mandos etc. Fara far zatai
ranantu, etc is a common mando which our goans used to sing for any
occassion including weddings. In olden days weddings were a source of
enjoyment for the whole vaddo .Now weddings are mere formal parties. Even
sometimes your neighbour gets married and you are not aware of the same.
What difference does it make if I stay in Mapuca or saligao ? Both these
places are mine .I am a jonereo of Saligao I am not a gaunkar of Mapuca .
But I prefer to be in Mapuca specially in the rains rather than use boats to
travel along the convent street which has a paraphet build by an italian
scientist.
