CD on Jack Sequeira released

Aug 18 The Konkani Songit Somajik Kala Kendr, Taleigao and Santan
Viegas Production has released an audio CD, titled Opinion Pollacho
Bapp, Dr Jack De Sequeira at the hands of Dr Lilia Sequeira, daughter
of Dr Sequeira in the presence of Mr Nicholas Fernandes, former
councillor, tiatrist, Prince Jacob, Mr Peter Figueiredo, secretary of
Konkani Songit Kendr and Santan Viegas Production president at Kala
Academy, Panaji.
Speaking on the occasion, Prince Jacob highlighted the efforts of Dr Jack De
Sequeira for the cause of Goa and the Goan identity. Every Goan should
be proud of his efforts. He said that this CD is an awareness of the
role played by Dr Sequeira and every house should have it.
The singers who contributed to the audio CD are Felcy, Peter Roshan, Succur
de Santacruz noted trio Mil-Mel-Nel, Ezilda, Dorothy, Aldair-Anjali
Figueiredo, Custodio Cabral, Ivan Viegas, Pierre Fernandes, F X Pereira
and Eldrin Viegas. Music and lyrics writer, Mr Santan Viegas, speaking
on the occasion lauded the yeoman service of Dr Jack De Sequeira. He
was of the view that the work which he has done with the help of Mr
Peter Figueiredo will be appreciated by the Goans through the medium of
music.
