Dear Reader
Thanks for the comments in favour of the bishop. His country is India and his
place is Goa. In Goa there are many catholic people living in utter poverty.
There are many youths unemployed. There are many people waiting for the word of
God. There are many helpless senior citizens waiting for some relief to them.
There are many homeless people in the world. There are many separations in the
catholic homes. Alcoholism, drug addictions. Once a year the lay people of Goa
contribute towards Mission Sunday. I have heard that Missionaries go to Africa
when their own people are starving for the word of God. There are many people
around the periferi of Goa who have not seen the light of the world. Priests
that are based in good lucrative churches are fine but there are who are based
in remote areas cannot make both ends meet. What is the state of priests who
are sick and old ? Those who have their relations to help are ok but those
without are just left like that. Sick priests who have reached to even 70 are
not retired and many of them do not want to retire because they do not have
anyone to look after them. please answer these questions. albert
