Dear John and others who have chimed in on this topic, Let us not assume that we know all the answers to deviant behaviours in humans and not cast stones until we do. Without getting into the brutality of Sharia law, let us hope that the judicial system in India, which is a legacy from the British based on christian virtues is more accomodating.
