Artiste urges Goans to exploit talents on stage

CURCHOREM, OCT 26 – Stage artiste Alka Velingkar has urged
Goans to excel at the national and international level by exploiting their
talents on stage.

She was addressing a gathering after inaugurating the five-day multi-lingual
drama festival, organised by the Department of Art and Culture in association
with the South Zone Cultural Centre at Udaipur.

Director of Art and Culture Prasad Lolyenkar, chief of South Zone Cultural
Centre Udaipur, Lek Hussain, vice President of Advisory Committee of the Art
and Culture Department Shridhar Kamat Bambolkar and Dr Vijay Thali.

Bbambolkar informed that the Ravindra Bhavan at Curchorem would be fully
renovated along with air-conditioning this year.

Five dramas in Konkani, Marathi, Hindi, and Gujarati languages are being staged
during the five-day festival.
