The "Da Vinci code" movie/book caused such an uproar everywhere. Featured were the "Knights Templar". Mysterious and full of myth. Can anyone tell me more? Is there a Goan connection to them? I was looking up "Henry the Navigator" and "Kings of Portugal" supporting the Knights Templars in 1200-1300. Most drawings of Portuguese Ships in Goan heritage places show what looks like the Templar "even sided" cross on their sails. Did Templars sail to Goa? I remember that there used to be a statue of Henry the Navigator in Vasco near the fish market circle.
