Yesterday I picked up Vasco Pinho's just-released book, "Snapshots of
Indo-Portuguese History - II, Rise and Demise of Estado da India" It is
available at bookstores all over Panjim. Like his Vol I that dealt with
Panjim, this is also more in the spirit of a compendium than a treatise. An
easy day's worth of reading. Priced at 395 INR.
