Hi Selma
I keep hearing about these wonderful human beings in Goa but I am baffled
when such "wonderful human beings" are unable to simply say that caste/casteism
within the Catholic Church membership is as wrong as racism anywhere. Why for
heaven's sake is it so difficult to state the obvious in the example I offer
here?

In the case of Goan priests in Goa however, I have now been able to unravel
the secret within the Church that prevents them from publicly uttering what
would effectively be 'blasphemy' and betrayal of the Church in its long-drawn
out immersion and role with caste. I had my suspicions all along when exploring
the complicity in support of caste by the Catholic Church in Goa but am
particularly appreciative of Jose Colaco and A.C. Menezes who helped me stumble
on why the Church chooses to keep mum on this issue. Unfortunately, the reason
is most dishonourable and hypocritical but you will have to wait to know more
till I write about this, with firm evidence, in the world-wide Catholic media.

I decided the matter was complicated when Dr Basilio
Monterio was branded a caste-apologist. He is a
wonderful human being, a dear friend of mine and my
family's....
