My apologies. My error ......Selma brought it to my attn earlier.

The points remain for our general information

i.e. Neither the brewing of alcohol nor the ' tendency to provide
genetic input' was novel as far as Portuguese Goa is concerned.

Thr Portuguese may have brought in Cashews and hence cashew feni
...but not the brewing of alcohol.

As far as admixture is concerned .... we might visit South America,
Mexico, and Greece/Italy and see the similarity of the facial features
...with what we have come to think as being "Indian".
