Dear Mr.Saldanha,

The very fact that you're asking for proof for God's existence is proof that
God exists. God makes us intellectual human beings that thinks about things
such as the existence of souls, eternity and the afterlife.

The most amazing thing about God is, you can tell Him you want to believe in
Him but cannot, since you're skeptical. I don't think he'll be angry or
anything. I read a book once where an atheist screamed out, "God, if you
really exist, reveal yourself." And He did. The atheist later became a
Christian. The story of the hymn 'Amazing Grace' is a similar one, though I
cannot recall the exact details.

I once saw a documentary about the life-cycle of a Kangaroo. Everything is
so precise, that it is almost impossible for that to be the result of
chance. Even so, the human body is a results of millions of things all
working perfectly well-coordinated, at the same time. The complexity of the
human body is mind-boggling. The way all parts function independantly to
sustain life is amazing. Tough to believe that this is a product of chance
too. Look around. The skies, the clouds, thunder, the mountains, lightning,
lakes, Himalayas, air, everything! Even the solar system. Everything in such
order, no crashes, no chaos, everything on its own course. Thousands of
times scientists have predicted that an asteroid/comet will hit the earth,
but it never has happened. It can't, since the scientists refuse to believe
in the existence of the Man who's keeping the Universe in order. He's done
it for billions of years, and with that kinda work experience, He's not
gonna falter now. :-)

There are many systems in the Universe that function independantly to
sustain life. The air we breathe contains the exact levels of chemicals. If
that were ssliighhttlyy altered, we would cease to exist. Science ,
therefore is a proof that God exists. Life on this planet is so amazingly
orchestrated that it is impossible for me, personally to believe all this is
just a product of chance. God has made it so easy to understand His presence
because all creation points to Him. Yet, we doubt.

Talking about evolution too. How did the first cell come into existence. The
theory of evolution is just that. A theory. It has never been proven, and it
cannot. Darwin came up with this absurdity in the late 19th century, without
any proof, and surprisingly it has found its way into most science books. I
thought science needed to be proven. Apparently it doesn't. But God's
existence has to be proven. Weird. Inconsistent.

The word 'proof' is ambigious. 90% of the world's population in any given
era are convinced of a God's existence. Other simply accept it by faith,
like myself for instance. Many have had profound personal experiences, trust
in emotions, and many see it as logically or philosophically necessary for a
god to exist. Believing in God, by definition, is an exercise of faith. If
you're talking about tangible explanatons, as far as I know it, there is
none, nor could there could be.

I am a Christian and believe that Jesus is the Son of God. I cannot
personally prove it. I believe the Bible and its teachings. Faith is
believing what you cannot see. If you could have tanglible proof for God's
existence, it defeats the purpose of faith.

I guess you gotta say it out loud. God, if you exist, show me. I doubt He'll
refuse. :-)
