Dear Goanetters,
It is several days now since I introduced this thread. The response
has been less than enthusiastic. I can only presume that those who
were involved in the serious incidents mentioned are no longer gracing
Goanet with their presence. Since these are important questions ( as
Dr Jose-bab Colaco's personal experiences display ) , I feel we should
give these individuals another week or so ( after which I shall not pay
attention to this thread unless significant input occurs )
As I said before , my questions are pretty specific ( and I have not
mentioned names or included any links from the archives as multiple
netters and / or threads may be involved ). However, those involved
in these (mis)adventures should be able to identify their involvement
with ease ( unless they have a brain the size of a peanut )
As a reminder , I append the original post again ( please ignore the
bit about Chinmay's family name and note that I stand corrected on
the fact that the JC issue was much more serious than I thought ) :

If the Goanetters involved are no longer around, so be it. If they
come forward and explain the basis for their actions , good for them.
HOWEVER , if ( and I repeat IF ) they are still around and do not have
the guts to defend their actions , they are :
i ) An absolute disgrace to Goanet.
ii ) Cowardly scum.
iii ) Stupid rabble rousers.
iv ) *&%$£*'s not to forget %$*&^%'s
v ) Etc etc etc.
While we are awaiting these characters to make their re-appearance
on Goanet , here is a superb collection of Konkani songs from one of
my favourite e-sites. We have Alfred and Rita Rose , Lorna , Padmashri
M Boyer ( one of my childhood idols and one of whose Tiatr's I had the
good fortune of performing in ) and many others. The songs include
vintage favourites like Yo baayle Yo , Bandra festak , Hanv saiba poltodi
vetam , Juliana and my favourite by a mile ,the evergreen Adeus.
I am sure all on Goanet ( except the few who have just a cursory and
mild interest in Goan issues or are around with the express purpose of
shouting abuse / disseminating falsehoods / spreading hatred etc etc )

Finally , I wish to announce a competition based on a Goan rather than
a western theme. I would be grateful if Goanetters would send in lists of
what they perceive were Manohar Parrikars errors during his 51 months
of governance ( ideally with reasons as to why they feel these were
mistakes ). The person who can name all errors ( I have a full list ) will
win Rs 100. A contribution will be made for every entry received towards
The Goanet Sudharop foundation ( a charitable organisation dedicated
to eradicating abuse and abusive individuals on Goanet ).
I shall discuss the many follies of Manohar Parrikar on this forum ( with
links from credible sources to back my opinion ...as the latter could well
be biased ) after the closing date of this competetion ( which is February
28th 2008 )
