Dear Doc, I don't know about FN, but Selma atleast doesn't often shoot from the hip. You'll forgive me the pomposity of talking in third person but pomposity is the order of the day on Goanet. FN and Selma have already been proved right. One pro-BJP goanetter mooted the idea, one pro-BJP stalwart is moderating and implementing the idea. Where is room for this to be an unbiased and unvarnished dialogue? The Goanet moderators have been asked to take a hike, with all the arrogance of a cockerels as rightly stated by Miguel. The idea that Goanet has not spent any money or sweat on this venture is a facile one. Goanet has been propped up in cyberspace for nearly 14 years by the efforts of a few pioneering Goan men, whose equity in terms of sweat and money cannot be measured. This facility is now being requested for distribution of an election campaign style video, without any reservations. Surely Goanet's benevolence is either being mocked or severely tested. The second, and more important question is, what is the purpose of this interview? All the questions that are reworked by the (un)biased moderator are based on the premise that Parriker will return to office next hunting season. As such this makes it a promotional video and not an earnest attempt to understand and unravel past mistakes. As I keep saying, I don't know why the NRI diaspora is so easily taken by such frivolous attempts at reconciliation. It takes first of all true courage to attempt change and secondly true conviction that change is needed, neither of which the BJP display at any point in time. selma ____________________________________________________________________________________ Looking for last minute shopping deals?
