Gee, looks like Digu has taken us for a spin in his time machine. Where are we today, in 1970? Aren't we already an "international tourist destination"? Haven't we been one for a long time now? Have Digu and the Union govt asked Goans whether they want more tourism? Why are decisions that have ramifications for our day-to-day lives taken without consulting us, without any public discussion and debate? Note that the selfless public servants, Daya-bab Narvekar and Senhor Churchill, they who have never robbed a single paisa from Goa's treasury, accompanied Digu to this pass-the-begging-bowl round in Delhi. Digu also asked the Centre to help him strengthen Goa's police. About the only thing Digu hasn't yet asked Sonia-didi is for help with his morning ablutions. Regards, r
