Panjim Badminton Club in association with other badminton Players/ sports lovers have called for a Press Conference, objecting to the Sports Authority of Goa's arbitrary decision to grant another one-year extension to the retired Badminton Coach Roshanlal Nahar.
Mr Roshanlal Nahar has been enjoying an un-interupted stint at the Indoor Stadium in Panaji for the last more than 30 years and his continuation as the Coach even after his retirement has more to do with his well-established and well-nurtured political contacts than his coaching abilities. The Press Conference shall be addressed by Goa State Player and the President of Panjim Badminton Club and Evening Badminton Group Shashant M. Naik, Goa's State Badminton Champion Govind Navelkar, Joint Secretary of PBC and EBG Sandeep Heble and other State Badminton Players. The Conference will be held on 29th March, in the Journalist's Hall, Shrama Shakti Bhavan, Patto, Panaji, from 11.00 am onwards. Badminton Players, sports enthusiasts are cordially invited.
