Subject: Viva Goa 2008
The GOA has hosted Viva Goa for the past 10 years with much success. We
consider this event to be important in showcasing our culture and instrumental
for visibility of our Goan people. Unfortunately, due to the rocketing costs
associated with various venues, and logistical issues with alternatives this
year, the executive committee has decided not to host Viva Goa in 2008.
Generally, Viva Goa takes place on July 26th. The committee will continue with
the soccer tournament on July 26th
without the cultural shows. If you wish to join in the tournament, kindly
