In order to showcase the extent of the mining excesses that are destroying
the natural environment, beauty and ecological balance of Goa along with the
livelyhood of the people of serene villages of Goa, a power point
presentation is scheduled to be made at the roof garden of the Manvin's
Hotel, Souza Towers, opp. Municipal Garden, Panjim,
Saturday 12 July, 2008 at 4.30 p.m, followed by the interaction with the
Press.
The presentation shall be conducted by Shri. Ramesh Gauns, National Best
Teachers Awardee for 2008 and Shri. Sebastian Rodrigues, the two well known
pro-environment activists of Goa.
The Press as well as the more conscious citizens of Goa are cordially
invited to share the grief unleashed on GOA and
on the unsuspecting people of Goa in the name of GOA'S DEVELOPMENT.
