Dear George,

If there are no demons, there is nothing to fear.

You did ask how many illegal buildings were torn down by GBA as a measure of
its accomplishment. There are none. GBA is not a demolition squad.

The point I wanted to make is that we have PREVENTED the whole of Goa from
being laid waste for now. The Goa TCP [Amendment] Act, 2008, if it survives
will change all that. It is a constant fight that needs everyone's support, not
constant questioning. You intention may have been different. I must grant that.
You will also accept that we have a cause to feel badgered. Yesterday and today
have been particularly tense for those involved in the GBA. It is not just
Oscar, it is the entire story of the behind the scenes "soap opera" that we in
the GBa are force to see in its many "takes". You only see the final cut.

I am sorry, if my reply offended you. It was not intended. It is just a
reflection of the level of ennui.

No problems if the people at Goan Convention in Toronto were ignorant of us.
Rest assured the Goans in Goa know us well. We are their representatives, in
their native land. They know no other.

Mog asundi.

Dear Miguel

I attended two Goan conventions in July (California, Toronto). Over 90% of the
attendees did not hear of the GBA or their accomplishments.  I am well aware of
the good work the GBA has done as I am of the machinations and soap-operas
behind the scenes.

Please do not see demons when none exist.
