Hi, I do not think Goans have a crab mentality at all, not even dog in a manger mentality. Those who say that, have not lived with other nationalities or among other Indian culture people. (I can mention other culture people of India, nationalities (neighbours of India) by name, who are worse than Goans, but the whole of my text will be aborted here). Goans I find do not go out of their way to help other Goans, that's for sure, that does not mean they bring other Goans down (crab mentality). They do not help FOR FEAR THAT THEY WILL OVERTAKE THEM FINANCIALLY, but crab mentality? NO. Not helping is quite different from destroying another person or destroying what the other person has, I personally have not seen that among Goans, but have witnessed others and Indian neighbour's people doing that. On the whole don't you think people who destroy other peoples property with the mentality that 'I don't have it so you will not have it either' - EVIL? Are humans 'overall' evil? are ALL Goans evil? If not, why discus this topic here? Have we got nothing better to talk about? ED.
