There is no point in fighting like the Konkan Railway Realignment Committee [KRRAC was a correct acronym for what it did]. The better idea would have been to be a part of the solution and ensure that the stations were more conveniently located, that the train schedules were more convenient and that more trains originated from Goa. We pride ourselves as being a major tourist destination and are happy to have trains just passing through ...with timing convenient for burglers and the like , in the wee hours of the morning! The only way to stop Mopa airport is to find someone with a prospecting licence or cook up a 'Titulo de Concessao' to show a mining concession exists for the plateau.
