<The Goanet allegedly has a large subscriber list but those whoactually post
on it are the "usual suspects" numbering less than fiftypersons in any given
month ..... except, may be , in the run up to theJune, 2007, Goa Assembly
elections that saw a dozen new postersposting furiously on Goanet. That has
all but disappeared>

In a superficial sense, this is a rather superficial view of goanet. It
seems to me that goanet is too broad in scope for anything but such a
treatment. We have had statistical analyses of goanet posts in terms of
authorship. Maybe this can be extended somehow to include "readership" maybe
via use of Alexa scores. Perhaps someone can attempt a content analysis on
a sample basis. Finally, we need an impact analysis similar to the one's on
the two village nets the author has offered. Let's pull up our socks and
post meaningfully instead of just for the sake of posting. Cheers.
