Hi Ruby I am an ex flight attendant. I have seen it all. In fact I just returned from an extended week long Eid holiday in London, and believe me the passengers jumping out of their seats and opening the overhead lockers as well as rushing to the exits by mainly European passengers is fairly common and not restricted to Indians only. Seen it with my own eyes. The hostie intervened. The writer has adequately stated the horrors of getting about on the Subcontinent. Maybe that's why I've given Goa a miss these last 2 years. Recent terrorism activity is another deterrent to TRAVEL IN INDIA. Bad news for all of us. Wouldn't mind a drive to Vagator, Madam Sosa with no ice but cold soda and lots of lime juice and Konkani radio. Au revoir. rubygoes (non resident Goan) --------------------------------------------
