Every country has its ignoramuses and demagogues.  It is the intelligentsia
that stokes these characters. The pseudo-intellectuals, under some guise or
ignorance,  write articles that use / abuse history and factual details.  We
have seen this innumerable times on Goanet, where writers pounded their egos.

Catholics and Hindus who have written anti-Christian and anti-religion
posts should examine their writings and now pound their chest in remorse.

The remorse should stem from the wasted years when these intellectuals were
engrossed with the ills of the medieval period while ignoring what was going on
under our nose in our neighborhood and environment.

The Times claim 59 Christians killed while India's official figure has
throughout remained fixed at 35.  British paper urges immediate central action
to halt Orissa violence

London, Oct 11 (IANS) Declaring that the Manmohan Singh government is
"unwilling or unable" to intervene in stopping anti-Christian violence, a
leading British daily Saturday called for immediate deployment of federal
troops in Orissa and the arrest of Hindu militants.  The Times, in a editorial
titled 'India's Shame', named the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), Vishwa
Hindu Parishad (VHP) and the Bajrang Dal as the forces behind the carnage in
Orissa.

"The 2002 massacre of 2,000 Muslims in Gujarat exposed the ever-present danger
of communal violence when exploited by demagogues."
