14 Oct: 2 pm UK time. I managed to call Aires in the hospital and he appeared to be in reasonable spirits considering his ordeal. Evidently during the attack he fled to the restaurant's toilet and managed to lock himself in. The goons thrashed the restaurant before leaving.
