This morning as usual I visited Margao city to collect home requirements. Again this afternoon I had to be in city with my friend to physiotherapy center. Both the time, I found almost all shops closed including the shops nearby the residence of CM! This is despite police patrolling Margao in full force.
The very fact the bundh is peaceful and successful without violence, as of this time, I feel Madgaonkars (all religious people included) have developed sympathy for the cause and equally showed hatred to ruling party for not being in control. Will ruling party do some chintan baithak on this issue or will they, as usual, forget everything saying - we are the best! Best regards, Dr. U. G. Barad
