Talking Photos: Happy Birthday to Matanhy Saldanha I went to Cansaulim to attend Matanhy’s birthday. It stated around 6pm. Of the 39 MLAs/ special invitees, only one turned up. Seen some Nuns and priests too.
I also saw one of the victims of '13th October 2008' incidence Besides, so many other leaders/peopled coming from as far as Panjim and Chandor. Happy Birthday to Matanhy May God give you many more years to serve Goa I travelled all the way from Vasco, then Panjim then Agxi then to Cansaulim Just to meet Matanhy as a true Goan (leader) and not necessarily as a politician. There may be very very very few leaders like Matanhy in Goa. And I love to meet or attend their birthdays too. Someone please name such leaders, because I don’t know anyone else. Thank you. The main attraction of the function was the birthday cake. The large rectangular cake was placed on a boat/canoe Beautifully carved wooden canoe offered by GRE. See the pics below.
