False. Most of the times, I try to question the truth of, and sometimes pass
judgment on, what a person writes, not the person himself. Granted a few times
I have referred to them as militant activists because of the single-minded
nature of the activity they are engaged in in this public forum.

Those who pass judgment and use labels call their detractors apologists for or
sympathizers of the sangh parivar. What is worse is that they abuse the latter
by announcing in a public forum that they possess a sick and prejudiced mind.
Please see the quote below:

"Can any of these reports by any stretch of imagination be termed as
‘partisan’, ‘propaganda’ and ‘rumour mongering’, except by a sick, biased or
prejudiced mind?"

Here are examples of misinformation spread by Marshall:

"Reports by RSS aligned writers like Francois Gauntier and Sudheendra
Kulkarni are applauded as ‘broad perspectives’"
......Marshall Mendonza

I have never applauded these writers.

"Santosh was enamoured by S Gurumurthy’s article which he posted on the net (to
his credit he later withdrew his remarks once he came to know the loyalties of
Gurumurthy). But the fact remains that he found the article by Gurumurthy
credible enough in the first instance."
...........Marshall Mendonza

I have never stated that I found this article credible.

I have termed only some of the reports partisan and rumor mongering. I had
already given examples of partisan reports earlier. Here is the link to that
post.

Here are the examples again:

1.
http://www.goanet.org/post.php?name=News&list=goanet&info=2008-September/date&post_id=080178
This article badmouths the Hindu swami whose killing triggered the Orissa riots.

2.
http://www.goanet.org/post.php?name=News&list=goanet&info=2008-September/date&post_id=080796
Marshall Mendoza posted the above report implying that this incident is
connected with the attacks by Hindu extremists on Christians elsewhere.
However, if you read it you find that the two arsonists were unidentified. How
does one know that they were Hindu extremists? Why not communist extremists,
troublemakers or copycats?

3.
http://www.goanet.org/post.php?name=News&list=goanet&info=2008-September/date&post_id=080061
The above article gratuitously tells us about the activities of the Communist
Party of India (Marxist) in relation to the communal violence.

A clear example of rumor-mongering is the following wherein Marshall forwarded
a post with the sensational title "Catholic nun burnt alive in Orissa". The
truth is that a Hindu girl was burned.
