HINDUTVA VELOR OR HINDUTVA TERROR
Some time back, out of the blues plunked an alien entity on to Goanet called himself Laluram Sadhvi OH NO !! Laluram Salvi from Bicholim, who tried his best to delude members of this forum with droll assortment of Hindutva ideologies, his famous argument being "All Muslims were not terrorist but all terrorist were Muslims" Knock Knock are you there Laluram ???? Of late, have you been reading news papers or watching news on TV ? Don't tell me all of a sudden you have gone deaf, dumb and blind !! Sadhvi Pragya Singh Thakur and her associates, the alleged practitioners of 'Hindutva terror' or would you rather call it "Hindutva Valor", Laluram ? While most of the politicians are now trying to distance themselves from Sadhvi, the Shiv Sena have inextricably linked themselves with terror, by openly supporting Sadhvi, they have gone on record to say, that they will support her all the way, in what ever way required, this action goes to show that, there is an immoral equivalence, between the radical saffron outfits and the treacherous SIMI. The anatomy of religious hate is becoming stronger by the day and decorum of human life is in jeopardy. Religions were made to help people improve the quality and sanctity of human life and for humans to live in peace and harmony with one's self and with others around and in ambience with nature, but that does look far fetched with Politicians mad hankering for power, and with agendas of their own, can we really eradicate religion from political rhetoric's ? Or is it just an abstract notion, or a misplaced conception ? Dr. Osborne Peter Vaz, of Old Goa on Herald, today, has put it in right prospective when he says "Is there any politician of integrity and honour in India, so loved by this nation that he/she can win the hearts of its people? Unfortunately we only have politicians with shady backgrounds and small minds. It is a shame that Mahatma Gandhi died without leaving behind a worthy successor. And it is a greater shame that Indians can only make movies showing Gandhi's principles but cannot put them into action" Very much true, isn't it ? The fires of Orissa have not been doused yet and violence reared it's ugly head in Maharashtra, A cub, thinking he is the king of the jungle of politics with the inalienable need for power, seeks to best regulate and modulate a popular mandate for himself and trying to out do the pair of the flamboyant aging Lion and his son, masked in his own delusions of being the champion of the Maharashtrain cause, sent forth his lynch-men on a mission of destruction and devastation of democracy and of human life. The Politicians will stoop down to any level to draw political mileage form the disaster that befalls, like vultures ever so watchful for a carcass to feast on, by conflating issues and public notions. They will not hesitate to make use of the pervasive security and social apparatus at their disposal, cynically twisting facts for their own benefit to woo votes and use religion, caste and region as weapon, of mass destruction and our beleaguered government can only be an impotent bystander to all the atrocities of our elite figures. We should all be aware of, how far the BJP and it's allies are willing to take theocracy and fascism for the sake of a popular mandate. Will Advani be able to make his ever so elusive pipe-dream of becoming India's PM a reality and at what cost ? Do we have any one, who can liberate us, from this periphery of chaotic ideological gibberish, of saffronised religious fanatism ? Or do we have to wait for the reincarnation of Mahatma Gandhi ? Who is going to bell the monster ? CAN WE ?
