Dears,
Floriano has articulated a view that is shared by many. Though I do
not share the concept of a separate nation for Goa, I whole heartedly
share his view that most of the "pensioners" and fighters for all
sorts of FF reservations for self and kin, do not deserve any
gratitude. They are paid in cash!
Where are the freedom fighters when it comes to liberating the Titulo
de Concessao properties? Where are the freedom fighter when it comes
to protecting Goa's land, culture and identity? At least one of them
wielded a pickaxe to break name plaques of streets in Fontainhas
...while proudly speaking Portuguese. Hypocrites!

I have said it before and I will say it again and again until I die. Our
miserable freedom fighters have failed us. Fine, they liberated themselves. But
they became slaves all over again. And got us into a worse mess than before.
If they had to leave the liberating to us, we would have stayed independent,
autonomous, enjoying the fruits from both ends. Perhaps you are blind to see
that they are looting us naked and destroying us with their communal shit.
