Sure ultimately, when things go wrong, the parents say we tried our
best...in many cases this is debatable.
Here is an example which one could take with a pinch of salt. The
opponent of prostitution, castigates all prostitutes with hell,
brimstone and fire; one fine day he learns that his daughter has
become a prostitute.
Question, does he have the morality thereafter, to question
prostitution, when his own daughter is one?
In essence, should Sinari be castigating the Portuguese of today,
which it seems that many in Goa are doing, when his daughters is
allegedly married to one?
