A friend has two NEW (unopened and with all accessories) Olympus
WS-331M voice recorders. The price in Dubai is Dirhams 795. If
converted to current rate of exchange of 13.04 rupees for one dirham,
it comes to Rs. 10,368. He is willing to sell for Rs 9,500.
I have a friend coming to Goa (Bardez) later this month. Anybody wants
to buy let me know urgently.
I bought one of them. It works fine as it serves as a music player for
both MP3 and WMA. It is black.

Amazon has an average of $113/- for new pieces which works out to less
than Rs. 6000/-

I am sure the official selling price in India will be around that
figure and about Rs. 1000/- less in the grey market where there is no
warranty, but it is a genuine product. International warranties (for
goods purchased abroad) are not always respected here in India. And
delays and shipping make them not worth the paper they are printed on.

Unless an item is extremely cheap abroad, or just not available here
in India, it is advisable to buy locally.

Besides keep in mind that you are risking detection at customs. And
duty, and embarassment.

Cheers!

Cecil
