Dears,

Freddy Fernandes has the good of Goa at heart as do most people in Goa.
Unfortunately, Fr. Antonio Rodrigues C.Ss.R has prescribe a medicine that is
worse than the disease. He does not even seem to remember that Atanasio
"Babush" Monserrate was elected on an UGDP ticket last June or that Matanhy
Saldanha was similarly elcted on UGDP ticket in 2002 and Radharao Gracias
himself was elected in 1989 on UGDP ticket. Chuchill Alemao even went to the
Lok Sabha on a UGDP ticket. So what is the UGDP's track record that inspires
Fr. Antonio Rodrigues C.Ss.R that he want to give it redemption? Perhaps, this
is a fit case for quoting the good book to him, "Father forgive them for they
know not what they do." Luke 23:34
Fr. Antonio is likely to find that there will be hell to pay for making such
ridiculous statements.

What Freddy wrote about the labyrinth of manipulation is the best suited
description for the UGDP. I will reserve my views on the Goa Su-Raj Party
performance in legislation once it is able to get even one candidate elected to
a Panchayat, Municipality or Assembly ...even by fluke!

Please read Frederick Noronha's article in the GT last week. It has been posted
on Goanet, too. Salvation does not come easy. There is a heavy price to pay.
One would think that a Redemptorist priest would know that better thanthe rest
of us! Alas, the comforts of priesthood in the post-Constantine period may have
led to the delusion.

Mog asundi.

Dear Fr. Antonio Rodrigues,

Your post has certainly inspired me. I hope and pray it engulfs a lot more
Goans.

all the numerous NGO's working under different umbrellas do tend to be
labyrinthine tangles of confusion for the general public and leave them
vulnerable to the mercy of our manipulative, perverse and conniving members of
the elite.

It will only be in the interest of Goa and Goans that we all stand united and
move cohesively towards making our dreams for Goa a reality

We, as humans, think with our minds and feel with our hearts, lets us not
keep our minds and hearts, apart and let them wander in different direction,
but get them to work in unison for the restoration of our pride of being Goans.

Our united fight is the only way to change the actual depiction, of the
debauched and despicable reputation, that Goa has attained, during the last
decade or so, Thanks to our very own politicos.
