A tiatrist is a professional actor .We call M Boyer, Jacint Vaz Mike Mehta,Remmie Colaco as tiatrist because they have acted on professional stage. A tiatrist is a paid person. If you can pay him his dues he will act in your tiatr too if he is free. I cannot be called a tiatrist if I have just acted in my village concert or taken part in Kala academy competition. There is one such person whom people call him as renowned tiatrist. His presence is felt when others should have got a chance but only due to his political influence and pull he is treated as a VIP tiatrist. This is really an insult to our famous tiatrist who have rocked our stage in the past and are known all over the world. A person who has done very little to the konkani stage except has derived fame benefits due to his polical influence and the person who has done practically nothing to the Konkani language (Romi Lipi ) has no right to stand and and talk. I cannot understand why the real artist have kept their mouth shut and have shared the platform sometimes with this man who is not a tiatrist at all.
