Mario responds:

Santosh is absolutely right to be so sad at observing intolerance though I hope
he does not mean that challenging those with opposing views represents
intolerance, especially when those views are presented in a passive-aggressive
attack as in the original "God sucks" post, with no supporting commentary or
rational point being made, until the inevitable outr..., ...er, negative
feedback, by others. Then suddenly we saw all kinds of explanations, excuses,
presumptions, references from past associations, which all rang hollow, at
least to me.

To his second point, the "God sucks" post was clearly aimed directly at those
with opposing beliefs, in this case religious beliefs. Unfortunately, in this
case the intolerant people were apparently athe...., ...er, secular pluralists,
who had apparently missed the moral value of secular pluralism and thought that
just claiming to be secular pluralists automatically made them tolerant and
humane, and those with religious beliefs automatically intolerant and inhumane.
