The problem with this claim is that the Bush administration and the big govt. 
Republicans had full control of all houses of the government until 2006. We can 
definitely say that the Democrats blocked reforms from 2006 onwards. 
Bottom line: there is very little difference between the two parties. The US 
needs a true reformer like Republican Ron Paul.
