The recent incident of some 40 goons attacking, dragging out, molesting and physically assaulting women and men at a restaurant in Mangalore, had evoked a nation wide outrage. The attack carried out by Sri Ram Sena (SRS) goons, have also carried out many more attacks on students who were in company of different communities. Their leader Pramod Muthalik and others were rounded up and put under preventive detention prior to Valentine Day. He has since been banned from entering Mangalore for a year by the Deputy Commissioner.
It was in the news yesterday that this Pramod Muthalik will be in Goa before March end for launching his SRS unit here, holding public meetings, membership drive etc. This person is going to disturb the public tranquillity in Goa, and be the cause of breach of peace at many places. The moment he sees Goa, the beaches, the foreigners, the number of bars and restaurants, and the whiff of 'feni'; he's going to go berserk. This individual is a psychopath with paranoid delusions. I therefore appeal to the Home minister, the Chief Secretary and other Authorities to ban his entry in Goa. And if spotted in Goa, to be arrested and sent to the Institute of Psychiatry.
