Placido D'Souza is the father of Lucia and Maria who helped inspire Herman
to found GoaNet.  Placido's  son, Francisco, is one of the youngest Indian
CEOs in the USA.

9 May: Newspost Online.  Art lovers in Belgium had an opportunity to see the
portraits of 40 world leaders prepared by a senior Indian diplomat Placido
D'Souza. Presently, residing in the United States, Placido D'Souza has four
children who live in the US and Belgium . The exhibition was mounted by his
daughter who runs SAPNA, the Indian Cultural Centre in Gembloux.  For text,

Placido D'Souza was born in 1933 in Dar es Salaam and entered the Indian
diplomatic service in 1957 serving in Kenya, Panama, New York and Hong Kong.
He is married to Sushila and father of Jacinta, Lucia, Maria and Francisco.
