COLVA UNITED CENTRE (CUC) ANNUAL GENERAL BODY MEETING (AGM) Jacob Fernandes elected President Colva United Centre (CUC) held their 2009 annual general body meeting (AGM) on Friday, 15th May at Village Inn Restaurant, Kuwait City. The activities successfully undertaken for the past year were briefly highlighted and every member of the CUC was commended and graciously thanked for the excellent organization, time and personal attention dedicated by all. The final accounts were presented and approved. Election was held to select the 2009-2010 Committee and the process was conducted by the outgoing president, Alexander Fernandes, who will be leaving Kuwait for good, consequent to his retirement. Public Relations Members: Cajy Diniz Thomas Vaz Xavier Mascarenhas Rosary Fernandes Peter Fernandes Alex Goes The members thanked Alexander Ferandes for leading C.U.C. since the past six years as a true leader for bringing the association to this current comfortable status of glory and all-round achievements. The members unanimously nominated Alexander as Colva United Centre (CUC) attorney to handle their affairs in Goa. During the tenure of Alexander, Colva United Centre-Kuwait has been registered in Goa under the Societies Registration Act 1860 (Registration No. 07-Goa-2008). Alexander thanked all the CUC members for their distinguished support and wished the new committee all the very best to carry on the yeomen services. CUC can be contacted at P.O.
