While Gujarat was projected to be economicallyshinning, deep below was a infested sore that has been silently eating through the societal fabric in particular the poor. Can anyone believe that the Modi government was not aware of such spurious alcohol trade going on? We should not be surprised if these underground elements are his supporters. While Modi, like the Chinese government , has been painting a rosy pciture of Gujarat to the world the reality is different. Fear is one of the underlying cause of Modi's unquestioned reign.
