Mario Menezes at Khell Tiatr Festival created a huge hungama A media man with Video Camera was a regular to Khell Tiatr Festival 2009 at Kala Academy, We saw him coming in the middle of the show, take a seat in the front row, capture about 20-30 minutes and them off he go. But, today’s tiatr (Mario Menezes flop?) title LOVE STORY 2009 (I also call it flop because, few weeks after it’s release in mid April, this tiatr was abandoned? and Mario came with another ‘Kal, Aiz and Faleam’), the media man was there as usual. Mario send his messenger to stop him from video shooting and at the same time he made general announcement saying ‘Video shooting not allowed’ Perhaps, the media man thought the announcement is no for him (media person) and he continue with his mission. Mario send the messanger ‘the usual red baseball cap fellow’, He must have said ‘he is from the media’. And the media man continue shooting.. At this time Mario stopped the tiatr and came on the stage and gave his ‘baxonn’ but the media man already left by now through the back stage door. In his ‘baxonn’ speech, Mario said people (Media men) come and video shoot then show on HCN channel as part of musical show and that he wanted to give his message lound and clear to.. Mario Menezes (with Lawry Travasso) and Prince Jacob are well known or notorious for this time of behaviour or attitude. I wonder, what would be their or others (Tiatr Directors) reaction like when they come to know that JoeGoaUk sometimes put their tiatr clips on the net in the form of a tiatr trailers including photos. Would appreciate if any one come back on this particularly the reaction of Gulf based directors like Simon, Marian, Domnic, Crasto etc or if they are aware of such things on net. Or for that mater any reaction of other gulf/Goa based tiatrist like Cajetan, Marcus, Querobin, Filip etc as I have their staged clips/pics too. To make and put up a 7-8 mins clip/trailer, besides other things, it cost me a whole night. Yet, I know, I may not be right or that may be illegal etc.. If any director/actor write back to me to ‘remove’, I will promptly do so. Last month June 2009, besides the fixed BSNL monthly charges Rs.1350, it also cost me Rs.450 more. This is because I exceeded the permissable monthly usage limit i.e. 5GB and anything above that charged @ 80paise per MB The BSNL meter seems running faster now since June. This month it is under control as I often used free usaged time i.e. 2am to 8am.
